The Board of Directors works closely with LifeNet4Families' Executive Leadership to develop a strategic plan to allow for continued growth and expanding its impact on the community.   We believe that the Advisory Council can play an important part in this growth.

 

At the current time, the Advisory Council will have two specific goals to help the organization with:

 

• Increasing the size and strength of our Board of Directors.  We would like to do this by identifying specific companies and industries that are currently not represented on the Board of Directors, but should be.  The Advisory Council's advice and connections will be invaluable as we pursue Board candidates desired.

 

• Obtaining funding for our mobile pantry operations.  We have included in our 2019 budget an increase of about $120,000 in operating expenses for the expansion of our mobile pantry sites.  We have not yet identified a funding source for this program, but consider the expansion of the mobile pantries to be critical in our goal of substantially increasing the number of citizens we are able to serve in the community.  The Advisory Council can prove to be instrumental in this endeavor by sharing information on social media, ideas for fundraising, etc.
